Ghosts - A SoliloquyIt is 3 AM-the deadest hour of a week night. It is raining lightly and the air is as cold as the silence, except for the ramblings of a middle-aged man. He is trudging his way through on the sidewalk of a small city. He wears plain clothes and a sweatshirt with the hood up, protecting him from the water. He pays no attention to anything but the concrete and seems to have a destination in mind…

Have you ever read or seen Band of Brothers? There's a guy in there named Lewis Nixon--is your doll's name just a coincidence? Heh.

It's pretty cool, despite being unintentional!

And yeah, I've been catching up with old deviations and just saw your tribute to Buck. I read his book a few months ago, and it was so inspiring, learning about all he'd achieved in his life beyond WWII...his death really tore me up, and yet it wasn't even a week ago that he passed. But it's great to see that people still know and can learn about his legacy.

I really want to read Buck's book. I have a few on my "to read" list I have to get through first, though.
I too am so happy to see people (especially young people like myself) that are interested in his stories and can respect everything he has done.
